Chana

The jungles of Chana occupy a portion of the southeastern coast of Talislanta, stretching from Faradun to the borders of the Quan Empire.

The Environment

The climate in this region is characterized by extreme conditions:

• Climate: Hot, wet, and unbearably humid.
• Flora: Ideal for many varieties of tropical plants and trees, some of which can literally spring up overnight after a drenching rain.

The Witchfolk

The primary humanoid inhabitants are the Witchfolk, a people of dark and sinister repute. [^1]

• Notorious Pastimes: Known for headhunting and cannibalism.
• Reputation: Generally feared and disliked by almost all other races.

Conflict and Rivals

The Witchfolk are a persistent threat in the region:

• Quan Empire: They remain a constant "thorn in the side" of the Quan and their Kang soldiers.
• Traditional Foes: Their attention is often divided by ongoing struggles with:
  • Manra: Shapechangers of the deep jungle.
  • Nagra: Skilled spirit trackers.
