Narandu

Narandu is a frozen wasteland stretching across the far northern reaches of Talislanta. It is a region of jagged ice mountains and bleak tundra, where frigid winds howl through frost-ringed chasms.

The Ice Giants

The torturous region is the domain of the monstrous Ice Giants.

• Composition: Creatures comprised of animate ice.
• Leadership: Ruled by a mysterious entity whose nature remains unknown.
• Expansion: Advancing farther south each year, they convert temperate lands into bleak tundra through their presence.

Conquests and Territories

The Ice Giants have already made significant incursions into neighboring lands:

• L’Haan: Parts of western L’Haan have already been engulfed.
• Yrmania: Sections of this land have also fallen to the giants.

Prophecies

Scholars once dismissed the warnings of the avian Gryphs of Tamaranth. [^1]

• The Warning: The Gryphs foretold a war where the Ice Giants would extend their rule over the entire continent.
• Current Reality: These prophecies now echo ominously as the giants continue their southward march.

[^1]: Modern scholars are beginning to take these ancient warnings much more seriously as the threat grows.
