Studded Armor

This type of armor consists of normal leather or heavy cloth with the addition of metal rings, disks, or studs affixed to the outside of the armor. This additional armor helps to deflect piercing attacks as well as slashing weapons. Wearers suffer a -1 penalty to all DEX-based Action Table rolls.
