Dracartan
The Dracartans are tall humanoids with jade-green skin and chiseled features. They typically dress in flowing robes of fine white linen, adorned with necklaces, bracers, and torcs crafted from red iron.
History and Civilization
Formerly a tribe of poor nomadic wanderers, the Dracartans settled in the Red Desert centuries ago. Their prosperity began with the rediscovery of Thaumaturgy, allowing them to create red iron—a metal superior to common black iron.
- Engineering: Using thaumaturgical talents, they have built a sophisticated civilization in the heart of the desert.
- Architecture: Their cities consist of domed towers and circular structures made from thaumaturgically solidified sand.
- Defense: Red iron plating is used extensively for both defensive and decorative purposes.
Temperament and Culture
The Dracartans are a moody, introspective, and somewhat reserved people.
- Outlook: Their serious nature stems from a long history of struggling for survival.
- Tolerance: They exhibit a high degree of tolerance for most other cultures, with few exceptions. [^1]
